OUR HISTORY

Brief History of the organization:- In 1952 some dynamic persons having deep thinking in the field of education & philosophy got inspired to take up education of children as a mission of their life.The people engaged in this noble task of nation building through proper education of younger generation, laid the foundation of the first school at Gorakhpur. After due consideration, they named their school as Saraswatee Shishu Mandir-Temple of the Goddess Saraswatee dedicated to the children.

Thanks to their zeal, dedication and hard work that such like institutions began to be established at other places also. Vidya Bhartee , Akhil Bharteeya Shikshan Sansthan. New Delhi is the apex body which guides near about 18749 academic institutions through regional & state level network all over the country.

Vidya Bhartee is now stepping ahead for higher education especially in teacher’s education. Saraswatee Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is guided by Vidya Bhartee , New Delhi & associated with state body Saraswatee Vidya Pratishthan , Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh)


Campus:- A person becomes aware of culture & organized life from surroundings The college Building is located in the midst of city. The ambience and environment of the college is so designed & landscaped that it has a very pleasing impact. On pupil-teacher’s mind that is motivating them to come to the college happily & study with enthusiasm.

This educational institution is established on a large land of 3450 sqm. which comprises of 33 rooms out of which 7 rooms are used for Computers, Psychology, Science, Mathematics, ET, Language lab, Work Experience laboratories and others are used for Lecture Rooms, Seminar Rooms , Library , Prayer hall , Conference and Office work etc.


Affiliation:- The Saraswatee Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is launched according to the norms of NCTE-Code no. APW05865/223637 (Co.Ed.) 17th April 2007,New Delhi in Jurisdiction of Vikram University, Ujjain (MP).


Admission Procedure & Intake:- Saraswatee Shiksha Mahavidyalaya strictly follows the admission procedure prescribed by state government of M.P. for the intake of 100 students for B.Ed.

वर्तमान में शिक्षा व्यवस्था पर अनेक प्रश्नों एवं परिवर्तनों की बौछार हो रही है| आज सर्वाधिक शिकायत का मुद्दा शायद यह है कि विद्यार्थी उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त करने के उपरान्त भी मौलिक चिन्तन में तथा विचारपूर्ण निर्णय लेने में प्रायः असफल रहते है | अर्थात् उन्हें शिक्षा की सम्पूर्ण अवधि में उन कौशलों में आत्मनिर्भर होने का अभ्यास कभी करवाया नहीं गया होगा जिनका उपयोग कर वे स्वयं का जीवनयापन एक सफल व्यक्ति के रूप में करते हुए अपने परिवार के साथ -साथ स्वस्थ एवं आनन्दपूर्ण समाज और राष्ट्र के निर्माण में अपना योगदान दे सकें |


अनेक नीतियों अभियानों के बाद भी शिक्षा के 'सा विद्या या विमुक्तये ' के अर्थ को साकार करने में हम संतोषजनक स्तर पर नहीं हैं| शिक्षा के वास्तविक अर्थ को समझने के लिए हमें भारतीय जीवनदर्शन में व्याप्त समग्रता को शिक्षा के निष्पादन -मानदण्डों का आधार बनाना होगा |


शिक्षा के व्यापक अर्थ पर विचार करें तो यह ऐसी प्रक्रिया है जिसके द्वारा व्यक्ति को स्वयं के व्यवहार का निरन्तर परिमार्जन करने के लिए मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त होता है | स्वाभाविक रूप से शिक्षा की प्रक्रिया के प्रभावी संचालन में शिक्षक की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है | वास्तव में प्रत्येक विषय के अधिगम के साथ ही उन विशिष्ट व्यवहारों का विकास किया जाना आवश्यक है जिनके द्वारा वह एक सुसंस्कृत प्रगतिशील समाज का ज़िम्मेदार सदस्य बन सकता है और 'सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः ' के उद्देश्य प्राप्ति में अपना योगदान दे सकता है |


प्रिय प्रशिक्षणार्थियों एवं शिक्षक साथियों, हम विचार करें शिक्षक-प्रशिक्षण का अर्थ मात्र उपाधि प्राप्त करना नहीं है अतः एक चुनौती स्वीकार करे ऐसे शिक्षकीय व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण करने की; जो शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में वास्तविक दायित्वों का पालन करते हुए दैदीप्यमान नक्षत्र की भूमिका का निर्वाहन कर सकें |

Our philosophy of education has always been strived on nurturing the values so that an individual can play the positive role in fulfilling the needs of own life as well as society and nation. Thus contribution in making a happy society requires certain skills. These skills can not be earned in a day or two; it is a long term phenomenon.

The question arises that what is the agency to perform this role? The answer comes from all directions … the process of Education is the only way to fulfil the goals to make a progressive and happy society where the basic principle of Bharteey philosophy as ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah can be accomplished in real terms. We the teachers training institutions can become the catalyst to bring a positive and desirable change in the prevailing unsatisfactory conditions .

Dear students and colleagues let us accept this challenge. The teachers training institution is not only a centre to fulfil the course to achieve the degree but we have to create an environment to nurture the personality of a ‘Teacher’ which can perform the stellar role.
